
> Eligibility
- Baby of Bangladeshi citizen newly born in Kuwait.
>Requirements
- Bangladeshi Birth Registration Certificate (BRC) as proof of citizenship. Preferred option is to get the BRC from parents’ local authority in Bangladesh. However, in case of any unavoidable difficulties, one can get a BRC from the embassy. Please visit consular services and follow the instructions laid down there.
- Filled-up “New Application Form”.
- 2 copies of passport size recent photographs of the applicant (baby) and also that of parents, 2 copies for each, with white background.
- Copies of Parents’ passports and Kuwaiti Civil IDs.
- Bank receipt of deposition of Passport fees. You can also deposit to the payment counter in the embassy.
>How To Pay
- Payment is to be made by the applicant’s parent in cash at the payment counter in the Embassy. Before going to pay, parents need to fill up the “New Application Form” properly and SIGN it (Father or Mother) on the line marked for that. This form should be produced before the counter during payment.
>How To Apply
Step-1: Filling up the application form
- Download “New Application Form” and get a print, then FILL-UP the suggested sections except the one for PAYMENT.
- One of the parents should Sign the form on the line marked for that.
- You can also Fill-up the form online and then get a print and then sign.
Step-2: Payment
- One of the parents needs to come to the embassy in person to make the payment.
- Attach photographs of the baby, and both the parents, 2 copies for each, with the application form on the places marked for that. Also attach a copy of BRC of the applicant (baby) and copies of passports and Kuwaiti Civil IDs of parents.
- Take a token and approach to the payment counter with completed application form.
Step-3: Bio-metric Enrolment
- From the payment counter, you will be put in a queue for Bio-enrolment. Our operators will take the file and give all necessary entries. After a few moments, you will be given a print copy of all required information being submitted to the passport system. As parents, You have the opportunity to make corrections for any mistake, then you confirm and sign it. The operator will finalize the submission and give you a DELIVERY SLIP with a date mentioned for delivery. The whole process of step-3 may usually take no more than 5 minutes for each applicant.
Step-4: Done!!
- You are done. You can now move elsewhere on your choice.
>Delivery of Passports
- Usually it takes 20 days for URGENT(express) and 40 days for NORMAL(regular) delivery from the date of submission. However, unavoidable circumstances might cause delay. Currently it is taking longer than usual. Applicants are advised to follow the date mentioned in the SEAL given on the delivery slip.
- Delivery of Passports starts at 2.00 pm every business day and continues until 4.00 pm. The applicant’s parents or a duly authorized person may receive the passport. In each case, the recipient will be asked to produce the original delivery slip before the delivery counter. So, please DO NOT forget to bring the Original delivery slip to take your delivery.
- After the new passport is delivered, please check your passport before leaving the counter to ensure your new passport is a correct one.
